He graduated with an MBA from NMMU Business School, BBA (Hons) in Business from the NMMU Business School before earning a post-graduate Certificate in Business Rescue from Unisa. He obtained a BTech Degree in Internal Auditing from NMMU. Madzivhandila also obtained an Advanced Certificate in Management Competency from the Institute of Management in Germany.
